Sitar virtuoso and composer Anoushka Shankar returns to The Concertgebouw. Following the success of last year’s BBC Proms performance of her Chapters trilogy, Anoushka reunites with Robert Ames and London Contemporary Orchestra to bring the orchestrated version in its entirety to Amsterdam.
The result is an intense, richly layered concert in which Indian classical music, contemporary composition, and deeply personal storytelling converge. Shankar, Ames, and LCO invite you into an intimate sound world that is both cinematic and profoundly personal.
This is a rare opportunity to experience a concert of this scope and depth — presented at only two venues outside the UK this year: Luxembourg and Amsterdam.
